The other Cuthbert Scofield was a decendant of John de Scofield who settled in the Rochdale area in 1290. Richard and Daniel are from the Rochdale Scofields. I just have a couple of questions for you: 1) You state that Richard is your 9th GGfather and his brother Daniel is your 8th GGfather. But since they were brothers, is that accurate?
